Sungai Harmoni Selangor Sdn Bhd intends to implement the above project, which is called the Proposed Residuals Disposal Works for Sungai Selangor Phase 1 (SSP1) Water Treatment Plant (“the Project”). The Project intends to provide the residuals dewatering and zero discharge facilities for the SSP1 Water Treatment Plant. Sungai Harmoni intends to pre-qualify suitable companies and consortia to tender for the proposed works.
1. Companies intending to apply for pre-qualification shall meet the minimum requirements as follows:
(a) Sole Company
i) Malaysian registered company with at least 70% of equity owned by Malaysian citizen; OR
ii) A company listed on Bursa Malaysia and controlled by Malaysian.
(b) Joint Venture/Consortium
i) Locally incorporated Joint Venture/Consortium with at least 51% of the equity held by Malaysian firms; OR
ii) Unincorporated Joint Venture with at least 51% of the equity held by Malaysian firms, provided that Applicant will incorporate the JV within 4 weeks upon the award.
iii) The companies (Lead Partner and Partners) that intend to participate as Joint Venture/Consortium in Items b(i) and b(ii) above must be a Malaysian registered company.
AND
(c) Companies registered with Construction Industry Development Board Malaysia (CIDB) under Grade G7 with Category CE (Civil Engineering Works), Specialization in CE20 (Water Supply) and CE21 (General Works of Civil Engineering). Companies must also be registered with Category ME (Mechanical & Electrical Works), Specialization in M15 (Various Mechanical Equipment), AND
(d) Companies registered with Suruhanjaya Perkhidmatan Air Negara (SPAN) with IPA Type C1 (Water Supply) permit, AND
(e) Experience in civil construction project of works of a residual treatment plant for the water treatment plant in Malaysia of not less than 50Mld, completed in the last 20 years.
